A food pantry is an independent community site that distributes food and other products directly to those facing hunger. Food pantries purchase food at a discount from a local food bank, and receive donations from local grocery manufacturers, retailers, and food drives. Food pantries assist and help feed hundreds of people per week!
We are a non-profit 501(c)3 organization.
F.I.S.H of Santa Rosa helps approximately 100 families per day, 5 days a week and we rely on the generosity of volunteers and donors. Servings to our clients are up by 20% over this time last year. The temporary increase to CalFresh (federally known as the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program or SNAP) enacted at the beginning of the COVID-19 expired in March 2023 per the End of the Consolidated Appropriations Act of 2023, and F.I.S.H of Santa Rosa is already feeling the impact.
We are asking for your help!
